| Mens Breakfast |
| There will be a Mens breakfast on Saturday, May 17 from 8-10am. Breakfast will be cooked by our resident chefs, so you will not want to miss it. Following breakfast, we will have a time of worship, testimony, and a preview of things to come. |
| Guest Speaker |
| On Sunday, May 18, Janeil Owens from the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission will be our guest speaker. He will be sharing what has been happening in Haiti and how the Mission is moving forward. |
| Kairos |
| Thanks to all who helped bake cookies for the Kairos outreach at the Lebanon Correctional Institute last month. We have another opportunity to reach out with cookies for the Warren Correctional Institute Kairos outreach project on May 15-18. We are in need of 125 dozen cookies. Contact the church for more information. |
| The River Preschool |
| The River Preschool is currently enrolling 3, 4, and 5 year olds for the 2008-2009 school year. You do not need to go to the River Church to enroll in our preschool. Call the preschool office today at 755-7777 ext 2 for more information. |
| Wednesday Night Men |
| The Wednesday Night Men will begin a new 6 week DVD study on Wednesday, April 16th. The study is "Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference?" by Philip Yancey. An optional participant guide can be purchased for $8 (while supplies last). The Wednesday Night Men meet every Wednesday from 8pm to 9:30pm in the sanctuary. |

| On Saturday, May 17, beginning at 7pm you can relive those good old days of the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s by joining us for Retro Night. Come dressed in your favorite era and get ready for some fun. It is only $2.00 per person! If you can bring a small side dish to share, that would be appreciated. |

| 40 Days of Community Testimonies |
| As we go deeper in our journey of "We are Better Together" campaign, please let us know how your lives are impacted individually, in your home groups, and church body. How is God moving and how are you a part of it.
Also, we encourage all small groups to take pictures. Celebrate together, grow together and above all have fun together...and do not forget those Kodak moments. Some of the best photos will be used in a video on Celebration Sunday. |
| One Way Farm Outreach |
| Do you have a knack for planting flowers or painting shutters? Do you want to show the love of God in a practical way? If you would like to be a part of a wonderful outreach opportunity and lend a hand in helping to do yard work or other odd jobs around the farm, please plan to join us on Saturday, May 31st at 10am at One Way Farm in Fairfield. Let us know if you will attend so we can make sure we have enough jobs for everyone! Lunch is provided. |
