| If you can grret people with a smile, give a welcoming handshake, and pass out bulletins, this ministry is for you! We are in need of a few more volunteers to help on Sunday mornings with this wonderful ministry. Fill out a tear off tab and drop it in the offering box if you would like to help out, or contact the church office. |
| | Haiti 2011 Mission Trips |
| There will be a Haiti 101 class on September 19 at noon in the conference room. If you think you might want to go on a mission trip to Haiti or if you would just like to hear more about Haiti, we invite you to attend this class. ANYONE that plans to go to Haiti in 2011, even if you have gone before, must attend this class. New policies are being put into place and it is going to be a requirement to attend Haiti 101 to be able to go on the trip. Our February trip is scheduled for February 17-26. Applications and a $500 deposit are due October 1. Applications and a $500 deposit for the June trip (date to be determined) are due December 1. |

| Interfaith Hospitality is in desperate need of paper towels. If you can, please pick up a few extra rolls of paper towel while grocery shopping. Place any donations in the Interfaith Hospitality bin in the cafe. |
| Baby/Child Dedications |
| On Sunday, August 29, The River Church will be dedicating babies and young children to the Lord during both the 9am and 10:30am services. If you would like to have your child dedicated to the Lord, please let us know on the tear-off tab. Include your name, the name of your child and write “dedication” on the tab and drop it in the offering box.
