About The River Church
|
We believe the cross should unite believers rather than divide, so we have organized this church independent of any denominational ties. This has been a wonderful blessing to see a church come together that is made up of people from every religious (and non-religious) background that you could ever imagine.
If you're looking for a friend, then The River is the place to be. We believe that relationships are critical to building a healthy, thriving church.
We believe that worship should be relevant to the culture in which we live. Our worship will be lively and celebrative at times, and it will be warm and reflective at times. And at all times we desire for our worship to bring glory to Christ.
We believe that God's Word is capable of radically changing our lives when we teach it thoroughly and apply it to our lives. Strong Bible exposition and application will be trademarks of The River Church.
We certainly have a heart for families, especially in an age when families come in all shapes and sizes. Our programs and Bible studies are designed to help your family be a success as God has intended it to be.
Some churches are "tradition-driven," but our new church has no traditions to drive us! Instead, we are driven by the purposes which God has established for the church: Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Ministry.
Church is not supposed to be complicated, and we want to keep things simple. At The River, you can get involved without having to "jump through hoops" or pass a Bible-Knowledge test! It's simple enough for anyone to join right in.
We believe that life-change take place best in small groups. Our small groups are the heartbeat of ministry at The River. If you haven't visited a small group, then you haven't visited The River!
We take children very seriously at The River. Our programs are designed to give children the best church experience they could possibly have during their formative years. Our desire is to build a generation that loves God with all their hearts.
