At The River, we believe that small groups are critical for the health of the overall church body. So we've developed a network of small groups that help our people get connected with God and with each other. Many of our LifeNet groups meet in homes which allows our people to build relationships in a much more relaxed environment. We spend time every week in fellowship, Bible study, and prayer, and we would love for you to be a part of the excitement.

Our guys have a couple opportunities every week for meeting together and working through the challenges that are unique to men who are following Christ. It's not easy, so these men's small groups are a huge help. We also plan events for our guys such as outings, retreats, Promise Keepers, etc., which help us go to the next level in our journey with God! Oh yeah, and we also make some great friends through these activities as well!

We offer opportunities for our ladies to get together to grow closer to God and grow closer to each other at the same time! Our ladies have a Bible study which meets every week in various homes in the community. We also plan regular Ladies' Retreats and Ladies' Nights Out so that we can build friendships that will last a lifetime. All this happens in a tremendous Christian environment where we can also draw each other closer to God at the same time!

In addition to our children's ministry classes, we also provide a safe, fully-staffed nursery and preschool to allow you to have peace of mind while you are in worship. When you drop off your child to our nursery or preschool, we will give you a vibrating pager, so we can contact you immediately if there is a need. We believe in making our children's ministries safe and fun! No matter what age, your kids will be dying to come back to The River to be a part of the excitement!

Our children are our most valuable possessions here on this earth, so we believe in taking care of them! That's why we've developed a first-rate children's ministry that will allow your children to have a blast while learning about God. The last thing we want to do is to make your kids think that God is boring! You can drop your children off at their classes on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and/or 10:30 AM, and they'll be learning about God in a fun sort of way while you're in worship with the adults.

We believe in investing in the next generation, and that's why we've put forth so much effort to develop a dynamic teen ministry. Every week we have a Sunday evening youth meeting known as "RUSH." We get together for some crazy [and often strange] fun, we eat some snacks together, have some great laughs, and then we get into some relevant Bible study which helps teens to make sense out of life in the 21st Century. In addition to our weekly RUSH, we also have activities a couple times a month. We have a lot of stuff planned, and you surely won't want to miss out on the excitement!

Our society is so driven by the vast forms of media that are all around us. So it makes sense for us as a church to use those same media to communicate the great message of the Scriptures which will lead people to ultimate joy and fulfillment. We have a media team which works hard to make sure that we are utilizing the Internet, PowerPoint, video projection, music videos, and all the latest technology in every aspect of our ministry.

We believe we can connect with God in a powerful way through intimate worship and adoration of the Creator. We use multimedia and contemporary music to draw our hearts together in meaningful worship. At times our music is upbeat and celebrative. At other times our music is reflective and intimate. At all times we want our praise and worship to bring glory to our Father in heaven.
