Our passion at The River is to partner with parents to be a relational community that builds friendships to share Jesus with the kids at The River and with their friends. To help fulfill that we are putting together a seminar to help empower parents that will take place on Saturday, November 14.The seminar will include a panel of parents who have "been there, done that" or are currently doing it to help you answer the toughest questions that you may have regarding raising your children. The panel will consist of four sets of parents: Tim & Darlene Snyder, David & Shelly Musson, Jim & Pam Mousie, and Matt & Lynnae Beatty. You can read each of their bios below.Tim & Darlene Snyder have been married for 31 years. They have 3 sons: Robby (27) married to Rachel, Tyler (25) married to Kylee, and Bryan (16) a sophomore in high school. Tim is in the IT field and Darlene is a stay-at-home mom.David & Shelly Musson have been married for 22 years. They have 5 children: Ben (19), Josh (17), Caleb (15), David (13), and Elizabeth (9). Dave own his own business and Shelly is s mom/part-time office help for the business.Jim & Pam Mousie were high school sweethearts and have been married 39 years. They have 2 grown children: Maria (37), who works at The River as the Kids Ministry Director, and Josh (33), who is a Professor at Emory University. Jim has been in ministry for over 30 years and is now a Chaplain at University Hospital in downtown Cincinnati. Pam is a 3rd grade teacher.Matt & Lynnae Beatty met in college and married three weeks after graduation in 1993 (22 years). They have four children: Samuel & Sophia (15), Abraham (14), and Grace (12), all of whom were adopted as babies/toddlers from New Delhi, India. Matt has always worked in secondary or higher education except for a brief stint in as a pastor of a small church. He is currently the Curriculum Coordinator/ACCS Liaison at Mars Hill Academy. Lynnae was a classroom teacher, day-care director, and office manager prior to motherhood.
