WELCOME TO RIVER CHURCH

The River Church is a community of people who are committed to leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. When you show up, you’ll find a culture of grace and an atmosphere of loving acceptance. The River is a place where Biblical truth is embraced and Jesus’ love is extended.

When you arrive you’ll find that the atmosphere is casual (jeans are great), the music contemporary, and the Bible is taught with application for where we live today. If you have children, you can check them in at Riverbank Kids and know that they will have fun, learn the Bible, and be safely cared for by teachers who are trained and screened.

Whatever your circumstances–single, married, single again, with or without children–and no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, you matter to God and you will experience the difference here. So come and be our guest at 9:30am or 11:00am this Sunday morning!

what to expect

The Growth Track is made up of four steps that equip you to
1
One difficult part about visiting a new church is knowing what to expect. Read below to help make it easier. Then make sure you watch the video  featured on top of this page.

There are two entrances to our facility. If you enter through the west doors you’ll be right by the auditorium. If you enter through the south doors, you’ll be at the Café and right by the River Kids check-in.
2
Here at The River Church, we are more concerned with people than conformity. This means you can come dressed casually, bring your own coffee or get a free cup of coffee in The River Café before the service starts and take it with you into the auditorium.
3
The services generally last about 65 minutes. They will include contemporary music complete with electric guitars, drums and a focus on Jesus Christ. Generally, the message follows the music and it will be Bible-based with a challenging relevant application for daily life. Toward the conclusion of the service, the offering is received. We want you to know that you are our guest, so don’t feel obligated to give—just do so if you sense that you should. We’re simply glad you’re with us!
4
Our River Kids Ministry is staffed by dedicated volunteers and led by a staff member who is an expert in children’s ministry. Each of our volunteers has had a background check to ensure your child’s safety.
Bring your child to the River Kids check-in station to get started. Your child will receive a tag as will you and with that tag, only you can retrieve your child. They will learn Bible stories and values, have fun, sing songs and want to come back!
You can download, print, and fill out the New Family Form to make your first check-in quicker. Our River Kids Team can’t wait to meet you!
Below shows what we offer for your kids (or teen) during each service, so you can plan ahead on which service you want to attend.

WE believe

We believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, verbally inspired Word of God. It is the only authoritative rule for faith and practice.
We believe God is supreme in His Person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, and glorious in His Perfection.
We believe that God exists eternally in the three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, His Deity and sinless life, His vicarious death, along with His bodily resurrection and ascension, and in the blessed hope of His glorious return for His Bride, the Church.
We believe the Holy Spirit executes the plan of God for our conviction and salvation. All Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit at salvation and are empowered by Him for service and purity.
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
We believe that the visible church is a congregation of baptized believers practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrines, observing its ordinances, and exercising its autonomy.
We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting punishment.
We believe that the salvation of sinners unto eternal life is wholly of grace, and that the assurance of our salvation comes through faith alone in Christ alone. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and, thus, become children of God.
